Here at OOSH we were so excited for Tuesday to arrive, as we knew we could put up our Christmas Tree. What an amazing group effort it was to assemble and decorate our tree this year. We witnessed great displays of Mercy Values by the children, with Charley suggesting that we keep some decorations aside for children to add-on this afternoon, ensuring that the Christmas Spirit was shared and able to be enjoyed by as many children as possible. We also spent time last week decorating Christmas Stars to add as personalised decorations to our tree. Our kind Educator Amy donated these to us to use for Christmas. We decorated them with lovely stamps bought by out other Educator Lisa, as well as stickers bought for us by Mrs Woodhouse. We are feeling very thankful.
- “Nicholas, have you put a decoration on yet?”
- “Here Ruby, I’ll help you”
- “There’s so much tinsel, where should we put it?”
- “Oh look here’s Teagan’s star”
- “When is Mel coming? She needs to see the tree too”
- “Should we put the angel or the star on top? Maybe we should vote”
- “Let’s put on some music”
