This week we have enjoyed the spirit of Christmas and the joy of giving.
One of our Year 6 students, Mandy, who has attended OOSH throughout her primary school years has been donating some of her pre-loved toys and games for us to enjoy here at OOSH. The children were really excited and grateful to see what Mandy had brought for us all to share, and what a lovely gesture from Mandy to leave those things with us as she heads off to high school next year.

Our Christmas party preparations are progressing full steam ahead. Congratulations to our Christmas Party Committee who developed and organised our “Secret Santa” gift exchange this year. Children attending the Christmas Party were given permission notes to be signed by parents, and this week we were inundated with permission slips being returned by eager children. The children with be provided with their “Secret Santa” name by next Monday so that the shopping can begin!
On Thursday morning, Sofia S and Sofia L decided to become “santa babies” and they wore their santa hats and set-up a toy factory. They set to work making presents for everyone, and we then sat around the tree and opened our presents just like Christmas morning!
